Residents of Ibadan city have been advised to go to Saturday’s polls to cast their votes without fear of intimidation from any quarters.

This advice was given by some Mogajis under the banner of Progressive Mogajis in Ibadan

Spokesman for the Mogajis, Mogaji Remi Babalola said they are desirous of a people oriented government in Oyo State and charged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Adebayo Adelabu and other contestants to put the people’s welfare first.

The traditional family heads in Ibadanland, however, cautioned that the traditional institution should be insulated from partisan politics.

Babalola said: “Enough of these hungry, jobless and political hoodlums who tag themselves Mogaji.

“We would also like to congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for their success at the poll.
