One of the political parties that withdrew at the last minute from the gubernatorial race in Oyo State, Save Nigeria Congress (SNC) has joined other well-wishers in congratulating the state’s Governor-Elect, Engr. Seyi Makinde over his victory at the recently held polls.
This was contained in a statement signed by the gubernatorial candidate of SNC, Awolusi Olusegun Gaskin where he described the victory of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as ‘a symbol of perseverance and consistency in vision’.
Said Gaskin, “On behalf of myself and the entire working committee of our great party, Save Nigeria Congress (SNC), we join others to congratulate the governor-elect on his victory, your victory is a symbol of perseverance and consistency in vision.
“We believe, this your well deserved victory will end all the politicking and negative thoughts that have occupied our political space all these while in the state, and we know that this is a time to settle down to good governance that will bring about the good dividends of democracy to all and sundry”.
