Maroc ‘88 Nation’s Cup hero and important member of the Nigerian Super Eagles in the 80s and 90s, Bright Omokaro is having a running battle with his wife of over 22 years, Evelyn and this is leading towards imminent separation.
The domestic rift, PMParrot gathered, has degenerated to the extent that the former Shooting Stars’ Coach has left the house he built together with the estranged wife and has now acquired a plot of land in Aba Ibeji, Odo-Ona Kekere area of Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, where he is building a new three-bedroom bungalow as his new abode.
The building construction that started about 11days ago has gotten to roofing stage as at the time of filing this report, an indication of the desperation of the Edo born former defender to detach himself from his wife who bore him two children.
“I have done everything within my capacity to make things work but my wife has turned to something else, just as if the devil has possessed her and she is beginning to torment my life”, Omokaro fumed.
He further explained, “I just acquired this parcel of land about 12 days ago, but thank God that the building construction is now at roofing stage. Not that this is convenient for me but I must just decided to do this to have a rest of mind from a woman that we’ve been together for the past 22 years but is now waging war against me.
“The house in Agara Estate, along Alao-Akala way in Ibadan where I stay with my wife and children was built in our joint names (Mr. Bright and Mrs. Evelyn Omokaro). She is now laying claim to it and even instigating our tenants against me.
“I’m going to pack here on the completion of this building and live here peacefully alone, so I can have rest of mind to enjoy the remaining part of my life”, the former Eagles defender fondly called ‘Mr. 10-10’ disclosed.
He, however, promised PMParrot that he would give the graphic details on the issues bedeviling the once blissful union very soon.
