MUPAN Inaugurates New Exco, Felicitates With Makinde, Others In Oyo

Music Advertising Association of Nigeria (MUPAN) has inaugurated its new executive members to run the affairs of the association for the next few years in Ibadan.

The event which held recently had the aim to improve the quality of records being churned out by musicians and record labels.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the new president of the music promoters, Alhaji KamorudeenTiamiyu read a riot act to unregistered label owners.

He said “those used by non-professionals to release music that are not worthy to hear and also to  musicians under them to see to the quality of music being released and ensure standard and message, educative and reasonable entertaining lyrics is releases”.

While eulogizing the members of the association for voting him and trusting him for the next three years, he promised them to uphold the tenets and the constitution of the association.

Alhaji kamorudeenTiamiyu, also used the opportunity to congratulate the governor-elect of Oyo state, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde over his victory at the recent general election.

He however wished the governor-elect a very successful tenure, assuring him of the total support of the Music Advertising Association of Nigeria (MUPAN) members in the entertainment sector.

Also speaking further, the newly elected president congratulated one of their associates, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi popularly known as Currency whose son, Yusuf Adebisi just got elected as member-elect Oyo State House of Assembly to represent Ibadan South-west constituency 1 on his victory.

The association which was founded about 22 years ago had the attendance of the FUMAN national executive secretary Alahji Ganiyu Iyanda, first president of the association 22 years ago, Elder Bili Fancy, patron MUPAN Elder Babatunde Oyekan and others.
