The Governor elect of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde has said that he looks forward to a progressive relationship with the new NLC Exco in the state led by Comrade Titilola Sodo.
According to a statement signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade on his behalf, the Governor-elect said that he was satisfied with the level of rapport he had with the Congress during and after the election and hopes that this will be maintained as the new NLC executive assumes the mantle of leadership.
According to Engr Seyi Makinde, nothing short of the interest of workers will be acceptable to his administration as he applauded the rancour free consensus that heralded the new Chairman as a good sign that democratic maturity has always been a virtue of the NLC.
Makinde, while congratulating the new executives gave kudos to their predecessors for laying a good foundation.
