Quality Education: Ekiti SUBEB Boss Asks Teachers To Redouble Efforts

The chairman of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Francisca Aladejana has tasked teachers in public schools in the state to redouble their efforts in the quest to provide quality education to their pupils.

Prof. Aladejana who gave the charge in Ado-Ekiti while monitoring resumption of schools in the state for the third term of the 2018/2019 academic session stressed the commitment of the government to providing conducive teaching and learning environments in all public schools in the state.

She noted that teachers have a lot of work to do in the term as the entrance examinations into secondary schools as well as the Primary School Leaving Certificate examination usually took place in the third term.

The SUBEB chairman urged the teachers to reciprocate the government noble gesture of prompt payment of salaries by being more diligent and dedicated to their duties.

She admonished the pupils to also be hardworking and punctual adding that the school feeding project under which pupils will be given one meal per day will soon commence in Ekiti State.
