All is set for members of Afenifere (Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba) to meet on Wednesday in Osogbo, Osun State capital. The meeting will hold at the home of its leader, Senator Ayo Fasanmi.
A statement signed by Senator Fasanmi reads: “The meeting would deliberate on the prevalent insecurity in Southwest states. We are most concerned by the state of insecurity in the region. It is high time we found solutions to the problems confronting the Southwest and Nigeria at large.”
Fasanmi urged state chairmen and members of the group to attend the meeting.
He congratulated the new leadership of the National Assembly and urged them to join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari in his effort to find lasting solution to the problem of insecurity.
