The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ Ekiti State Council, Lion Rotimi Ojomoyela has expressed happiness over the ongoing renovation of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State by the Dr Kayode Fayemi-led government in the state.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Lion Ojomoyela explained that such renovation would further enhance productivity and encourage workers to put in their best.
Ojomoyela noted that conducive environment remains one of the important factors to enhance service delivery thus commending Governor Fayemi for the initiative.
He urged workers of the corporation, particularly journalists to reciprocate the gesture of the governor through commitment to work .
The NUJ boss congratulated the Leadership of BSES particularly the Head of the station, Mr Olu Popoola for the great things that have happened to the station during his time wishing him more successes.
Ojomoyela, however, pleaded with Dr Fayemi to attend to some of the obsolete facilities in the corporation and transform them making the station to go fully digital.
According to Ojomoyela, the present leadership of NUJ is ready to fight for the welfare of members and would not compromise in the quest to achieve such foresight irrespective of any situation.
