West Ham’s Daniel Toma Inspires Nigeria’s Springwell Academy

West Ham Academy winger Daniel Toma has pledged to assist other Nigerian youngsters right from the home front, especially from an Ibadan based Springwell Soccer Academy where he trains anytime he’s in the country.

Toma who was invited to the Nigerian U-20 camp recently where he recorded an impressing outing always trains with the handler of Springwell Academy in Ibadan, Coach Clement Rotimi and has promised to support the academy’s boys with soccer training materials when coming home this summer.

Daniel Toma whose parents reside in Ibadan always trains with Springwell Football Academy at Lekan Salami Sports Complex Adamasingba Ibadan whenever he’s on vacation from West Ham, and reiterated his satisfaction with the program of the Ibadan based academy.

Coach Rotimi who has produced many notable footballers including Kayode Olanrewaju, who now plays as a forward for Turkish club Gazişehir Gaziantep on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, Godfrey Eboigbe of 3SC, Kemi Abiodun of Falconet, Ebere Orji of Super Falcons revealed this to the sporting press in Ibadan.

He, however, described Toma as a great asset to the Nigerian Flying Eagles and also of great influence to the youngsters in Springwell Academy owing to his benevolence and good leadership quality whenever he’s in the country. “Toma has pledged to support the development of Springwell Football Academy where he trains whenever he’s in Nigeria, he said Nigeria has lots of fantastic football talent at home and he’s ready to support in whatever way that could help them realize their ambitions”, Coach Rotimi noted.
