All is set for the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi to formally inaugurate the 3rd Ekiti State Youth Parliament at the Ekiti State House of Assembly Complex on Friday.
In a Press Release circulated from the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development in Ado Ekiti, the Honourable Commissioner in charge of the Ministry in Ekiti State, Honourable Michael Awopetu revealed that the Ekiti State Youth Parliament would be officially inaugurated at the Ekiti State House of Assembly Complex in Ado-Ekiti by 10am on Friday September 20th, 2019.
Awopetu reiterated the commitment of the Fayemi-led administration to Youth Development and explained that the focus of government was to train youths in the state and make them compete favourably with their peers globally.
Awopetu also solicited the continued support of all Youths Stakeholders in the State towards the success of the programme, stressing that its success would assist in securing the future of the state and the nation at large.
