All Set For OYRTMA’s Mobile Court To Start Sitting

The Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency (OYRTMA), has disclosed that arrangements have been completed for the operation of agency’s Mobile Court Sittings.

The transport agency announced Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 for the commencement of the sittings.

The Executive Chairman of the agency, Dr. Akin Fagbemi after an extensive meeting with the Chief Magistrate of the Mobile Court, Magistrate Moruf Mudashiru at the Agency’s State Headquarters, Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

Dr. Fagbemi expressed the readiness of the Agency to ensure that fair and speedy trial of all traffic offenders whose vehicles, motorcycles or tricycles had been confiscated or impounded by the agency for violation of traffic rules across the State.

He solicited for the total commitment of the court in speedy adjudication of all cases in line with global best practices and dictate of the traffic laws of Oyo State in order to oil the wheels of the developmental agenda championed by the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

The Chief Magistrate in his reaction, expressed satisfaction with the operational and administrative changes ongoing at the agency since the appointment of Dr. Akin Fagbemi.

He further disclosed that sanity would be returned to the highways across the state as all traffic offenders would be tried fairly without recourse to social status, creed, gender, religion or political affiliations.
