Christians who left Nigeria early this week to the holy city of Jerusalem to perform pilgrimage have pledged to be of good conduct and worthy ambassadors of the country during and after observing the holy prayers.
The elated pilgrims before departing Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos were full of praises for UfitFly, the firm that packaged their pilgrimage tour.
Some of the pilgrims who spoke with the newsmen before their departure at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport expressed satisfaction, praising the popular tour brokers, UfitFly for making their departure for the journey an easy one despite their large number.
Also, he commended the federal government for sanitizing the Murtala Mohammed Airport and also UfitFly that packaged this trip for them.
“We didn’t experience unnecessary harassment and extortion that always happen here at the airport again despite our large number”, the clerics noted.
The pilgrims group that comprised of notable church leaders and the aged, promised to pray for Nigeria’s leaders and the betterment of the country while performing the pilgrimage rites at the holy land.
