An Ekiti born multi-talented artist, Oniyele Tomide has disclosed that the time has come for him to rule the world with his style of music.
Tomide, the rave of the moment, who is popularly called Tommy Bomb is set to light up the Nigerian music industry with his debut single “Leave Story”.
The single will be produced by the best producer, 2019 Headies Awards winner, Killertunes, who has also worked with Top African Music Super stars like Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi and Mayorkun.
Tomide, a graduate of the University of Ilorin, disclosed this while interacting with journalists in Lagos recently.
According to him, ‘Leave Story’ is a song that will not only motivate individuals but also inspire the listeners to focus in order to keep their dreams alive.
“Leave Story is a song you want to wake up to every morning. It’s a song that’ll spur you further each day to achieve your goals, while giving your heart a desired rhythm to dance to”, he explained.
The music genius explained further that the beauty of African music doesn’t lie in the ambiance they provide, or the rhythm they bring but in the inspiring messages of hope, endurance and reassurance of a successful life.
“The new hit-song, Leave Story by me gives adorned beauty in Afrobeat, Afro-pop and Afro-fusion. The new song connects with the heart of every hustler, every person striving to make a better future for themselves and their loved ones, inspires everyone struggling in their various fields of expertise to endure beyond breaking-point and to see light at the end of every dark tunnel”. He said.
Tommy Bomb, as he is fondly called reiterated that the new song addresses mental health issues, like depression and suicidal thoughts amongst African youths.
Speaking about his experience, Tomide said his rise to fame was an aftermath of his endurance, perseverance, persistence and consistency with creative-ideas.
Oniyele Tomide, a Masters Degree holder from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti in Tourism and Events Management, revealed his dream is to inspire the youth positively to be the best they can legitimately.
He warned against internet fraud and other social vices.
He has in the pipeline, many songs that are yet to be released with different great producers including one of the best producers in Africa, Dj Coublon
