A former Minister of Sports and Special Duties, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, has joined others to send condolence messages to the family of Senator Robert Koleoso whose painful death was reported on Thursday.
In a statement on Friday morning, Adedoja recalled that the late Senator Koleoso was his deputy gubernatorial candidate under Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN) in the aborted 1998 gubernatorial poll in Oyo State.
He described the late Senator as an honest, amiable and reliable politician that will be greatly missed by all persons who have had close association with him.
In Prof Adedoja’s words “It is not only Saki or Okeogun people that will miss Sen Robert Koleoso but all of us who have had some relationships with him for over twenty years including the period he served meritoriously as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Oyo North Senatorial district from 2003 to 2007.
“I am very honored to have met and worked with him in this lifetime and pray for his soul to Rest In Peace and for God to comfort his loved ones”.
