The Oyo State council of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has joined others to congratulate Princess Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu on her appointment as SSA to the state’s Governor Seyi Makinde on Diaspora.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Jadesola Ajibola and secretary, Comrade Stella Oyebanji, the Association also commended the Oyo Governor for appointing Mrs Bolanle Sarumi, an outstanding woman as member of his administration.
“We are not surprised that His Excellency is appointing another woman, this is in fulfillment of his promise to run an all-inclusive government in the state”.
According to Oyo Nawoj, Princess Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu’s antecedents tell that she would perform excellently well, as an astute woman and an entrepreneur per excellence, she would no doubt ensure that the state thrives as an investment driven one among others.
Oyo NAWOJ, therefore, expressed optimism that she will continue to be an agent of change.
Oyo NAWOJ therefore expressed the hope that she will put in her best to excel in her new assignment.
