Massive rehabilitation of roads have commenced in earnest in Ondo City courtesy of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu and Ondo State Government.
The roads rehabilitation is unprecedented and an indication that the government of Ondo State cares for the people of Ondo West Local Government in no small measure.
Speaking on the development, the number one leader of APC in Ondo West, the Honorable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Lola Fagbemi thanked Arakunrin Akeredolu for always remembering Ondo West in the scheme of developments in the state.
In her words, “the rehabilitation of the roads in the city will no doubt greatly relieve people from the economic hardship that bad portions of the roads might have been causing and will also ease free flow of humans and vehicles.
“The good people of Ondo West will forever remember Mr Governor for good and we will always be in the same political page with Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu.
“Ondo people are not known to be ingrates. We will demonstrate our appreciation by coming out in our numbers to cast our votes for Mr Governor in a show of love for him at the polls”.
Some of the affected roads include, UNIMED Teaching Hospital road, Odòsídà street, Òkè Ìgbàlà Street, Town Hall, Oreretu Street, Odotu Street, Ìgèlè-Alẹ́, Odòjọmu, Òkè Ọdùnwò, Ọ̀kà among others.
