Rt Hon Kehinde Ayoola...gone forever...

Former minister of Sports and Special Duties, Professor Taoheed Adedoja has joined other great Nigerians to mourn the demise of Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, a former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly who was also until his death the Commissioner for Environment and Mineral resources in the state.

The ex-minister, in a statement made available to PMParrot on Friday evening said “I received with rude shock the news of the death of Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, a former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly and until his death the Commissioner for Environment in Oyo State.

“Kenny, as I usually called him was a brilliant young man, full of hope. He was endowed with lofty ideas for Oyo State and strove very hard to attain his set objectives.

“During my 2007 Oyo State Governorship Campaign on the platform of Action  Congress (AC), Kenny  played a pivotal role as a member of our Strategy Committee which he discharged with utmost honesty and candour.

“Indeed Oyo State has lost a gem. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Prof Adedoja, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continued “I commiserate with the Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the entire people of Oyo State for the loss of such a glorios gentleman and builder. “May God give the deceased’s family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
