The Management of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo has redeployed Mr. ‘Wale Adeoye as the Special Assistant on Media Matters to the College’s Provost.
Wale Adeoye, a former reporter with the Parrot Xtra Magazine was until his redeployment a staff at the Alumni Relations Office as an Administrative Officer 1 in the College.
He is an Alumnus of St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo (Now Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo) and the University of Ibadan where he bagged his First and Master’s degrees. ‘Wale Adeoye served as the National Public Relations Officer for Lagelu Grammar School Old Boys Association for fourteen (14) years and as the National Secretary.
According to a release with reference no- EACOED/Y/R/EST.8.2/VOL.III/347 dated May 22, 2020 from the College Registrar, Alh. Teslim Ladimeji Adediran, the new Media Assistant among other assignments, is to assist the Provost in media relation matters to ensure that the College gains enhanced reputation and favourable public rating.
He is equally expected to use a wide range of media to build and sustain the good image of the College.
While congratulating the new Media aide, the Registrar urged him “to demonstrate total commitment, loyalty, integrity, creativity and honesty in the discharge of his all important task of dissemination of information to the public on College affairs in such a manner as to attract public goodwill and improved patronage to the college” the release stated.
Management and staff of Prokonnect Ltd, the owners of Parrot Xtra Magazine, PMParrot.com and Parrot Xtra Hour On Radio (on Space 90.1) have also used the opportunity to congratulate Asiwaju Wale Adeoye.
In a statement from the media network, Adeoye was urged to work harder and make friends and family to be more proud of him.
“May God continue to be your guide and guard as you carry out your new assignment. Please keep the spirit high and keep the flag flying”, the statement read.
