A top chieftain of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Professor Taoheed Adedoja has joined others to congratulate a one-time governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala on the anniversary of his 70th birthday.
Adedoja, who was a former Minister Of Sports and Special Duties and also a Commissioner for Education under Governor Akala equally congratulated the former governor for the legacy he has left behind in the development of Oyo state particularly in the education sector when primary and secondary education witnessed remarkable growth and development.
This, according to Adedoja, “placed Oyo state in the enviable second position in universal basic education in Nigeria”.
The don then used the opportunity to pray for the celebrant, Otunba Akala saying “God will bless his new age, grant him sound health, more prosperity and long life to continue to be relevant as a leader in Oyo State and indeed, in Nigeria.”
