Professor Taoheed Adedoja has congratulated Nigerians and President Muhammadu Buhari for sustaining the tenets of democracy in Nigeria in spite of various challenges.
The former Minister of Sports and Special Duties, in a statement on Friday also used the opportunity to call on all Nigerians to celebrate late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.
Said Adedoja “as Nigerians mark the anniversary of the June 12, 1993 presidential election won by late Chief Moshood Abiola on this day, I implore fellow countrymen to embrace peace.
“I will also add that all Nigerians dead and alive that have struggled for the emergence of Nigeria’s Democracy should be honoured by remaining united, peaceful.
