The Ekiti State Executive Council led by the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved Messers Kefe Engineering Limited as consultant for design and supervision of Ekiti State Agricultural Cargo Airport project.
In a statement released to newsmen by the Honorable Commissioner for information and Values Orientation, Aare Muyiwa Olumilua at a virtual meeting held by the State Executive Council on 1th June 2020 and made available to newsmen on Monday June 15th, 2020.
The statement revealed that the consultant was shortlisted and finally chosen as suitable after a selective process and evaluation of the Technical bids submitted by each of the prospective consultants, it stressed that the duration of the consultancy would cover up to the expiration of the project/contract.
Also, in the statement, the Council approved the appointment of Prince Ajibewa Adeniran Oluwafemi of the Ajibewa Ruling House as the new Olorin of Orin Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of the state, stressing that his appointment was approved following his selection by the Warrant Chiefs who found him to be the most suitable candidate to occupy the throne which had become vacant since the demise of Oba Oluwole Olubummo III, on February 10th, 2015.
The statement contained the appointment of Prince Olatunji Olatunde as the Onimesi of Imesi Ekiti, in Gboyin Local Government Area, adding that his appointment was consequent upon his nomination by the appointed Warrant Chiefs, who found him most suitable to fill the vacant stool, following extensive investigations and consultation.
