The Senior Special Adviser to the Governor of Ekiti State on Labour Matters, Comrade Oluyemi Esan has congratulated the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi on the occasion of her 57th birthday.
The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement personally signed by the Senior Special Adviser on Labour Matters, Comrade Chief Oluyemi Esan to the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi in Ado Ekiti recently.
Chief Esan described Erelu Bisi Fayemi as a blessing to Ekiti in particular and mankind in general. Speaking further, Esan said “Erelu Bisi Fayemi is not just a wife to us in Ekiti but a kindhearted Mother who is passionate about every Ekiti man, woman, child and the underprivileged in particular and humanity in general”.
While describing the wife of the Governor, Chief Esan said “I found Erelu Bisi Fayemi to be highly civil, kindhearted, cerebral, bold and generous to a fault. Her ability to relate both with the hoi polloi and the high and mighty in the society in equal measures, stands her out as a special humankind”.
The former Aspirant who contested for the House of Representatives during the last APC primaries Election stated “Erelu Bisi Fayemi has played significant roles in fighting the course of the less privileged ones. Particularly, her strong opposition to the way women are been raped these days is just a tip of an eyes berg”.
According to him, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, is so passionate about children and women. Hence the reason why she sponsored Ekiti State Gender Based Violent (Prohibition) Law, 2019, already passed on 14th October, 2019 and assented to; and the Ekiti State Sexual Violence Against Children (Compulsory Treatment and Care) Law, 2020 which has also been passed and assented to by Mr. Governor”.
He therefore described Erelu as “humanity Advocate in motion” and prayed to God to give her long life to enjoy the fruit of her labour on the motherless and widows who she had worked tirelessly to defend and rescued from abuse and repression.
