Officially, Nigeria has recorded 591 new cases of COVID-19 and this was confirmed via a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC on Friday night. The total number of infections in the country is now 39, 539.
The tweet revealed that Oyo State had the highest number of infections on Friday with 191 cases, with Lagos State following with 168 cases.
