The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ibadan South Local Council Development Area, Scout Camp, Alhaja Kehinde Eboda has donated food items and other materials to an orphanage home in Ibadan.
The LCDA boss said that the gesture was to extend a hand of love that will aid their growth and healthy living.
Alhaja Eboda stated this in a brief ceremony held at the Federation of Muslims Women Association of Nigeria Orphanage Home recently, she promised to always do her best to impact positively on the lives of everyone especially children.
The Council boss stated that God has purposed for everyone on earth and He knows how to accomplish that purpose irrespective of our background.
Alhaja Eboda noted that the essence of governance is not only to formulate policies but to ensure that every citizen in the society regardless of age, sex, tribe, and political affiliation are well catered for.
She enjoined every well-meaning individual in the society to come to the aid of motherless babies homes scattered across the state, to rise to their needs because they are performing a great role that is key to our society.
The Caretaker Committee Chairman stressed that as a mother adequate care of children should be a major concern to all, as the present administration of Engineer Seyi Makinde in Oyo State really cares.
She said that government’s effort is to reposition children’s education by providing relevant textbooks, exercise books, regular coaching to make them actualise their dreams and ensure that Oyo State remains a pace setting state among the states in the country.
Alhaja Eboda, promised regular visit to the home to always render a helping hand in her own capacity. Some of the items donated included toiletries, beverages, noodles, soaps and sanitizers.
The Council Chairman was accompanied by Ag HLGA, Mrs. Moji Thomas, DAGS, Mrs. Fausat Ajao, DESS, Mrs. Iyabo Oyedele, DDESS, Mr. Kazeem Akano.
