The Evangelist, Gospel Faith Mission International, Dr. E O Falade has advised Nigerian leaders and Nigerians to live a fruitful life of service to God and humanity.

Evangelist Falade made this known during Multi-Denomination Service for the Burial Ceremony of His Excellency and former Governor of Old Ondo State, late Evangelist Bamidele Isola Olumilua at Great Expectations Hall, Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State.

According to Evangelist Falade his sermon titled “Inevitability of Death”, Falade said that it has been destined for man to die once and after comes judgement, stressing that what would be the gain for someone who lived a life without substance in the service of God and humanity as late Bamidele Olumilua lived.

While citing Revelation 30:11-15 and Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, the clergy submitted that everyone would be judged based on how they lived their lives.

“We must learn how to reference God and all what He created especially people around us as our great papa has lived. We should remember that one day will be one day when we shall be committed to mother earth like we are doing for late Evangelist Bamidele”

Evangelist Falade who emphasized the need for everyone to serve God without reservations, advised political office holders to use their offices to assist humanity like the late evangelist did when he was Governor.

Speaking on behalf of Ekiti people, the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi described late Bamidele Olumilua as a man of integrity who always embrace all and sundry irrespective of political affiliation.

Fayemi who said that late Bamidele Olumilua would never be forgotten for transforming the old Ondo State to an oil producing state, stressed that he would be greatly missed for his generosity.

“Baba lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation. He was a man of etiquette who respected the people around him. I learnt a lot from him, thank God for his life of service and selfless sacrifice to the people. He served God and humanity to the fullest”

The burial service witnessed music renditions from popular Gospel Singer, Evangelist Bola Are and dignitaries at the ceremonies included former state Governors.
