Another suspected kidnappers’ den was discovered on Tuesday morning on the popular Liberty Road in the Ibadan Southwest local government of Oyo State.
According to eye witnesses, there was a struggled between a man who most people in the area believed to be a lunatic and a scavenger.
PMParrot was told at the scene by residents that when they noticed that the lunatic had bitten a man, they try to help the assaulted by chasing the lunatic away but to their surprise they discovered what was believed to be remains of a decomposed human body in the abode of the mad man.
“We had been seeing the lunatic around for some time now but nobody paid any attention to him but early this morning, we saw him struggling with a scavenger and we thought they were fighting but when the lunatic bit the man on his face, people around tried to rescue him by chasing the mad man away.
“The lunatic escaped thought Obafemi Awolowo stadium bush and when we got to where he usually stayed, we discovered what we thought was a human decomposed body and we had to called the police”, one of the witnessed who did not want his name in print said.
When PMParrot spoke with Mr Femi Okunnowo, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Oluyole Police Station that is closest to the scene, he referred us to Iyaganku Police Station. We have since been trying to reach Mr Ojopagogo, the DPO there.
