Former French international, David Ginola has urged Tottenham Hotspur striker, Dele Alli to grasps the offer of French Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain by joining the team on Loan for the season.

With the international transfer window closing at 11pm on Monday, PSG are reportedly set to make a fresh bid for Alli after having a loan offer rejected.

Ginola, who was a former Tottenham player, said Alli must take his chance with the Paris based team and face new challenge like great players.

“When he came on in the second half [against United], you could see that he was very cautious about not losing the ball and not trying many special things like he is capable of doing on the football pitch.

“Doing that in Paris would be a new challenge for him. I don’t see why not. We haven’t had many English players playing for Paris Saint-Germain in the past so it would be interesting to see that,” Ginola said.

Speaking further, Ginola said with the new attacking strength of Tottenham with Gareth Bale, Heung-min Son and Harry Kane, it would be very difficult for Alli to top the pecking order in the attack.

“For Spurs with [Heung-min] Son, [Harry] Kane, [Gareth] Bale, Dele Alli – if he wants to play there with these three or four players – he needs to improve his game.

“He needs to be consistent. We have seen Son in the last couple of years, he has been tremendous – scoring goals, assisting goals,” he added.
