Professor Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi has lost one of the oldest and trusted aides, Tunde Babalola. He was Obey’s Marketing Manager for several years.
PMParrot gathered that the hard working musician’s manager went into coma two weeks ago only to give up the ghost on Sunday in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
We were informed that Babalola died from complications relating to high blood pressure at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
When contacted on the phone, another close aide of Ebenezer Obey, Mr Tunji Odunmbaku confirmed the sad development.
His words “Tunde Babalola’s death is a rude shock. Baba Ayewa and others just came in to see Baba Obey to officially inform him. We were all one great family.”
Tunde Babalola was aged 57 and he is survived by wife and children.
