The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has extolled the virtue of an industrialist, Chief Dotun Sanusi, describing him as a quintessential Ibadan man worthy of emulation for his philanthropy and dedication to the service of humanity.
Oba Adetunji spoke on Saturday at the 52nd birthday of the industrialist held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The occasion was graced by top politicians in the state, including captains of industry, traditional rulers, and members of the civil society groups.
The Olubadan, who spoke through his Director of Media and Publicity, Adeola Oloko, noted that Sanusi had prioritised service to Ibadan and humanity in general.
The monarch said, “I am happy to be at this gathering to celebrate one of my sons. It is not you that we are celebrating actually but God who gave you the grace to add another year. I am happy that you are living a life of service as a true son of Ibadan and I urge you to continue in all good works.”
Chief Sanusi is the owner of the popular Ilaji Hotels and Resort.
