Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that some foreign-born players have shown interest in joining the Super Falcons.

Pinnick assured that the FA is working tirelessly to build a strong Super Falcons squad that will continue to dominate Africa and also challenge on the world stage.

“We have gotten a new Coach for the senior women national team and there are new foreign based Nigerian players who have declared their interest to play for the country. Young and enterprising players for us to prove women AFCON is our birth right,” he said.

It would be recalled that the NFF employed American, Randy Waldrum to tinker the team, and Amaju also revealed the team will be involved in two friendly matches.

The Super Falcons last played a competitive match back in September 2019.
