In order to surmount the mirage of challenges facing Nigeria as a nation, leaders and followers in the country have been advised to imbibe the culture of developing positive mindsets and selfless service.

A renowned educationist and philanthropist, Dr. Fola Akinosun gave the admonition during the Annual Press Week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Broadcasting Corporation chapel held during the week.

Dr. Akinosun was also honoured as the Union named after him, the OSBC station’s ICT/E-Library to commemorate the annual event.

In his philanthropic gesture, Dr. Akinosun presented the Union with scholarship forms for not less than 250 youths to study in different educational capacities and cash gift.

Dr. Akinosun, also in his acceptance speech dedicated the honour to the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola and former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao Akala, who recently clocked 70 years of age.
