Paul Onuachu has ruled out a summer exit from Genk, insisting he “feels at home” at the club amid transfer links with struggling Premier League side Sheffield United.

The striker, who joined Genk from Midtjylland last year, has enjoyed a brilliant start to his second season at the club with 14 goals in 15 games in the Belgian Jupiler League.

Amid rumours linking him with a move to Sheffield United, Onuachu insists he is happy at Genk.

“I feel right at home at Genk,” he told The PUNCH.

“I haven’t thought about leaving yet. I still have three years on my current deal, so I’m not in a big rush to leave the club.

“We have a target and I want to make history at the club before thinking of an exit.

“We have a very promising squad with a lot of young players who are doing well this season, we can only improve. So, it will be exciting to see how far we can go this season.”

Onuachu, who is the leading scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, equaled a 10-year goals record in Belgium after he netted 14 goals in 15 league appearances for table-topping Genk at the weekend.

Jelle Vossen who also played for Genk, was the last player to achieve the feat.
