After a superlative but keen contest, this year’s Miss Oyo Beauty Competition has been won by Adedoja Adeyemi, one of the beautiful daughters of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Adedoja, who is just 23 years old is a master’s degree student at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
She defeated other contestants who represented the 14 federal constituencies in Oyo State.
The annual beauty pageant, which took place inside the Felicia Hall of Jogor Center, Liberty road, Ibadan on Sunday, saw the 24-year old graduate of the Osun State University, UNIOSUN, going home with a Toyota Camry car donated by Engineer Dotun Sanuji, the Chairman of Ilaji Hotel and Resort, Akanran. She also went home with other prizes.
The event, is a brainchild ace broadcaster, Mayor Isaac Brown through his company – Gotham City Network.
In addition to Engineer Dotun Sanusi, this year’s contest was graced by Mr Lawal, Oyo State’s Commissioner for Local Government, Pastor Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, ALGON chairman in the state, Princess Sade Adeyemi (another daughter of the Alaafin) and several prominent Nigerians.
