0

Students of the Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Ado Ekiti have charged the management of the school to upgrade the University’s website for easy accessibility.

Some of the students who spoke with PMParrot on condition of anonymity alleged that the University’s portal crashed because of the  failure of the school management to upgrade it.

They accused the University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun of his inability to  appropriate enough funds for the  school portal to meet up with the needs of the students especially at a time when they are expected to register and take lectures online.

This followed a recent statement by the Head of the Public Affairs Department of the University, Mr. Bode Olofinmuagun, that the management of the University has approved a virtual class for all students as a result of the upsurge in COVID-19.

Reacting, the Head Directorate of Information, Bode Olofinmuagun said “that the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the Institution will address the problem”, he submitted.
