It was a day of joy for the people around the palace of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III as a faith-based organisation, The Jerusalem Ministry Worldwide, organised prophetic prayers tagged: ‘Breaking of the 400 years Generational Curses’.
The prayer session that was conducted by a team of clergies led by Prophet Johncrownfit Kayode Anifowose on 15th April, 2021, was attended by the top chiefs and kitchen cabinets of the respected Yoruba monarch, the ‘Oyomesis’, Royal Princes and Obas and Baales from Oyo and environs.
Prophet Johncrownfit in his sermon said the people of Oyo Alaafin should rejoice as the time to fulfill the breaking of the 400 years generational curses of political bloodshed, slavery and hardship on the ancient town caused by ancestors and past leaders and present leaders had come.
He added that God has commanded his ministry to organize a seven-day national prayer for Nigeria, which started from the Palace of Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji adding that the program would move to other palaces of notable monarchs and will end at the National Stadium Abuja on 19th to 21st May 2021.
“That the mandate of the prayer is to bring an end to the current unrest in the country and usher in the Kingdom (Government of God) into the nation where the Kings, the Prophets, the priests and all the saints will begin to rule the nation in order to develop, comfort and ensure salvation of the people.
“The Lord has commanded this prayer to break the 400 years generational and ancestral curses of various political, religious, ethnics and tribal bloodshed from 1619 till date which has hitherto been responsible to the under development, various killings and unrest going on in our country and the part of the world.
“The Lord has broken these curses today 15th April, 2021 at the Alaafin of Oyo Palace, in agreement with Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III; by the reason of anointing. For is written: By anointing Jesus break the Yoke, says the Lord: Isaiah 10:27,” Prophet Johncrownfit said.
The Bashorun of Oyo who is the head of all High Chiefs in his remarks and vote of thanks commended that the team of clergies that stormed the palace to offer the atonement prayers while thanking other Chiefs and Baales on behalf of the His Imperial Majesty for taking out time to attend the crusade.
Prophet Johncrownfit, however, appreciated the grace of God over ministers and children of God such as: Apostle Paulson, Rev. Jesuje (PFN Chairman-Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State) Prophet Alakiu, Rev. Titus Qadri, Pastor Emeka, Mrs. Adebayo, Wale Obi and Busola Bassey and all members of the World Organization for Peace and Good-governance, who Supported the Ministry in the Prophetic historic prayer.
