Oyo State Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) under the leadership of Comrade ‘Seun Awodele has congratulated Nigerians as June 12 Democracy Day is being marked.
In a statement signed by Awodele’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Ambassador Taiwo Oguntoye, Oyo FIBAN said “The lessons from June-12 is still with us, it was in this spirit that we planned on organizing a public lecture with the TOPIC; CRITICAL MINDS FOR CRITICAL TIMES : sharing Abiola’s political ideology.
“Due to volatility of the Nation at this moment plus security advice, we hereby postpone the summit till a later day to be announced soonest by FIBAN.
“However, FIBAN wishes to congratulate Nigerians on this year Democracy Day celebration”.
