The Presiding Bishop of the Agape Christian Assembly, Bishop Felix Remi Adejumo has admonished Nigerians to be optimistic in the future of the country while assuring that the current worrisome situation of things will turn around if the people of the country genuinely pray to seek the face of God.

The Cleric gave this admonition at the headquarters of the church in Akure, the Ondo State capital recently during the 33rd annual thanksgiving anniversary of the church.

The Bishop further lamented over the poor living condition of Nigerians stating that the country is far behind in the agenda of God while decrying the high rate of unemployment among youths in the country.

He stated that many Nigerians with doctorate degrees are working as drivers and waiters in order to survive in developed countries of the world.

Bishop Adejumo, however, urged the people to keep their eyes permanently on the Lord Jesus Christ while maintaining a heart of gratitude to God in the face of the numerous challenges facing the country.

Speaking further, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Honourable Lucky Aiyedatiwa enjoined Nigerians to live in love and harmony and to walk on the path of truth and justice at all times while urging the residents of the state to pay more attention to the activities of the state government in order to be kept abreast of the transformational agenda of the government.

He further stressed that the Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu-led government in the state can be constructively criticized through various channels in order for the government to make necessary adjustments.
