Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde’s Special Adviser on Strategy and Political Matters, Hon. Babs Oduyoye, on Friday, described the death of a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Dr Busari Adebisi as the exit of an icon.
He noted that the death of the late politician and one of the finest from Idi Ikan, Ibadan, has created a vacuum in Ibadanland.
Oduyoye commiserated with the entire Adebisi family of Idi Ikan, Ibadan, friends and political associates of Baba Busari Adebisi, praying to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
He added that the late Busari Adebisi, apart from being his teacher at the University of Ibadan, lived an exemplary life that taught many people great values.
According to Oduyoye, “the news of the death of Baba Busari Adebisi came to me as a rude shock.
“Baba was a true Ibadan son, who contributed his quota to the growth and development of Ibadanland. His death has left a vacuum in Ibadanland.
“On behalf of the Oduyoye family of Idi Ikan home and abroad, I commiserate with the entire Adebisi Idi Ikan family and his friends and political associates.
“May God Almighty grant them the fortitude to bear his death and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
