The leader of the women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, Yeye Abosede Adedibu has emphatically told all those aspiring to be the governor of Oyo State in 2023 to wait for their turns after the second term of the incumbent, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde.

She specifically directed her message at one of the perceived strongest contenders in the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin who she described as a ‘close friend’.

The widow of the late strongman of Ibadan politics, Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu, made this pronouncement while featuring on the Isaac-Brown-produced ‘Political Circuit’ programme broadcast live on Fresh 105.9fm which was monitored by PMParrot on Saturday.

Yeye Adedibu hailed Makinde for being a ‘listening’ governor who has the interest of the people of the state on his mind. She added that paucity of funds has been delaying the execution of most of the plans of the Oyo State government.

While speaking on the issue of aggrieved PDP members in the state, the experienced politicians called for understanding.

“They all should learn to put the interest of the party first. The leaders of our great party are seriously working on genuine and lasting resolution”.

When asked to respond to the recent hint dropped by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode during his infamous visit to President Muhammadu Buhari during the week that Oyo’s Governor Makinde would soon join APC, Bose said “What Fani-Kayode said can best be described as ‘fakenews.com’ because we are not going to take him serious.”

Bose Adedibu also took time to speak about the fast approaching gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.

She submitted that if would be a shame on the former governor of the state who is also a very strong PDP leader, Dr Ayodele Fayose is APC is allowed to produce the next Ekiti governor. She urged all loyal party members in the state to rally together and work for quick resolutions to their differences.
