Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, will only listen to offers in the region of £93m for star striker and Nigeria International, Victor Osimhen, as top clubs in Europe continue to show interest in the Nigeria international.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid have been recently linked with a move for the striker, who joined Napoli last summer for an African record €81m from French side Lille last summer.
City are still looking for a new striker, having missed out on Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane over the summer, while United are believed to be targeting another forward in 2022 despite re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo before the end of the recent transfer window.
Although the Nigerian had a slow start to life in Italy scoring just 10 goals in 24 league appearances in the 2020/21 season which had him struggling with injuries and COVID-19 related issues, the energetic forward has become a headline name in Italy and across Europe for his prowess in front of goal.
Despite getting a red in his first league game of the season against Venezia and missing the club’s visit to Genoa, the striker returned with a bang, scoring seven goals in six matches in September across all competitions.
According to reports, United and neigbours Manchester City are reportedly interested in bringing the Napoli forward to the Premier League.
The Partenopei have Osimhen on a contract until June 2025, placing the club in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
