There are strong indications that the much-expected state congress of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State slated for Saturday has been postponed indefinitely.
PMParrot learnt that no reason has been officially advanced for the postponement.
However, we gathered that the reason might not be unconnected with the fact that there has been crisis over who should occupy the positions earlier zoned to each of the regions by the APC earlier this week.
Some chieftains of the party who spoke with PMParrot said they are not aware of any postponement of the congress.
Another big shot of the party who spoke with us from Abuja confirmed that the congress would no longer hold on Saturday.
When we spoke with Wale Shadare, a former spokesman of the party, he said the process “has not been postponed. We are all the Liberty Stadium at Oke Ado here.”
