Popular man of God, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere recently marked his birthday in an unusual manner when he decided to celebrate his 48th birthday with the vulnerable children.

The man, who has touched many lives surprised all by not marking his birthday in a five-star hotel or by staging an elaborate and lavish party.

The OPM General Overseer in an interview with newsmen after his celebration with pupils of OPM Free Autism and Down Syndrome School 2, situated at Greg Ogbuife Street, GRA phase 2, Port Harcourt, Rivers State described these kids as special gifts from God.

According to him, the reason why he embarked on this seemingly capital-intensive project was because of his genuine desire to mold the special kids in a special way in order for them to become better citizens in the society.

The birthday celebration recently held attracted parents of these special children where they expressed appreciation to the General Overseer for lifting a huge burden off their shoulders considering the expensive nature of educating such children.

Mr. Okafor Richard who has an 11-year-old boy in the school said he is very happy seeing the quick changes in his child within a few terms of joining the school free of charge.

“Before, my son was so dull and only stayed on a spot but now he’s normal and behaving well and even hyper active and soon I think he could join the normal school. I must say God has used Apostle Chinyere to change the fortune of my child”, said the parent.

Another parent, Mrs. Gloria Ehyinimen in her experiences shared with newsmen said “before this, my child, 12 years old, could not talk or do anything in the house, in fact, I used to feed her with my hand, but after some time in this school, now she can feed herself.

“She can bathe herself and do other basic things, but before she couldn’t do anything. And we have not paid anything as school fees or for uniform, writing materials; all these were given to her for free, so I thank the man of God and congratulate him”.

Mrs. Peace Okafor, mother of Victor, a 15years old student who also suffered from Cerebral Palsy (CP), which is a group of disorders that affects a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture was full of gratitude to the celebrant.

Also sharing good testimonies about the OPM Free Autism and Down Syndrome School was Mrs. Suzan Henry who has a 12 years old daughter, Mary Henry that was schooling somewhere else before where she claimed to have paid so much with nothing tangible to show for it, but since her daughter had enrolled free in OPM School, she has improved.

“Now she’s been responding well to the learning process and the teachers here have promised us that soon we can move her to a normal school for her to continue her studies. I must just pray for the Man of God to witness many more years in good health and abundant blessings”, said Mrs. Henry.
