When NNPP Inaugurated Members Of Its New Exco In Ekiti State


The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has elected new set of executives in Ekiti State to pilot the affairs of the party towards ensuring a successful outing in the 2022 gubernatorial election in the state.

Addressing the delegates from the 16 local government areas of the state, the Electoral committee chairman, Mr. Odeyemi Oluwatosin tasked the newly elected members of the executives to ensure that they wrestle power from the incumbent government of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2022 gubernatorial election in the state.

He said, “I urge you all to contribute and make frantic efforts to ensure victory for the party in the next gubernatorial election in the state”.

Speaking on the composition of the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission (EKSIEC)

He said, “NNPP is not expecting a favorable result from the forthcoming local government election because we know they are going to impose, we are aware that they have written the lists”.

He further re-affirmed that the party membership is open to interested members of the public including the youth and the women folk while assuring that the party will be a strong force to be reckoned with towards the 2023 general elections in the country and the forthcoming guber election in the state.

He, however, urged intending aspirants not to contest for any elective positions in the forthcoming local government election in the state while calling on the APC party leadership in the state to be ready to quit power.

Elected into the party’s executive are the State Chairman, Prince Ade Ajayi, State Secretary, Adeola Peter, Publicity Secretary, Adedayo Adeniyi, Legal Adviser: Mrs Folake Adeyelu.

The State Vice Chairpersons are Oluwaseun Babalola, (Ekiti Central) Adebayo Alaba (Ekiti South West) Mrs Afe-Odetobi Mercy (Ekiti North Central).
