Cleric Wants South West Governors To Diligently Enforce Anti-Open Grazing Law

  • As Akeredolu Attends 62nd Anniversary Of All Saints’ Church, Ibadan

Governors of the states in the South West of Nigeria have been tasked on the need to meticulously enforce the much-talked-about anti-open grazing laws in their respective states.

They were also lauded for achieving success with the Western Nigeria Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps that has resulted in addressing kidnappings, killings and other crimes in the region.

Venerable Babajide Iyiola, the cleric in charge of the Alll Saints’ Church, Jericho, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State made these submissions during the celebration of the church’s 62nd anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the Choir of the same church on Sunday.

Continuing in his sermon, Venerable Babajide Iyiola appreciated Governor Akeredolu and his colleagues, for their efforts at ensuring national peace and security.

Still on the anti-open grazing law, the cleric said proper monitoring and implementation would ensure protection of farmlands and other property of the citizens in the South-West States and check food scarcity.

The event was also attended by the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, who is also a chorister in the church and the Choir’s Grand Patron.

The Governor, who took the First Bible Lesson from Acts 9:32-35, worshiped God for His faithfulness over the church and the entire congregation.

Highlights of the celebrations are special renditions from members of the choir, thanksgivings and prayers.
