Italian Serie A side, Napoli have identified Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina as a potential transfer target when the summer window opens next June.
The Nigerian international is currently on the books of another Serie A club, Torino and his contract with the Turin-based side will expires in 2023, although there have been reports of a possible extension.
According to Kiss Kiss Napoli via Tutto Napoli, the Serie A leaders are looking to strengthen their left side of the defence and have included Aina in a list of their targets.
Mario Rui is Napoli’s current left-back, but the Neapolitans are looking for a younger player as the Portuguese star turns 31 next May.
Aina fits the role perfectly as he is just 25 and can play as a left-back and a right-back. A potential move could see him join Victor Osimhen, who has been Napoli’s leading man this season.
