The Paramount Ruler of the Otun Ekiti kingdom, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, has celebrated the one year anniversary of his enthronement amidst glitz and fanfare.
The event which was held at the palace of the monarch in Otun-Ekiti, over the weekend attracted many sons and daughters to the epoch-making ceremony.
Speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ekiti State, Dr. Folake Olomojobi eulogized the monarch for his unwavering commitment towards the development of the town while assuring the monarch of the continuous support of the indigenes of the kingdom.
Speaking further, Honourable Ibrahim Olanrewaju, a serving member at the National Assembly further described the monarch as a vibrant man who is committed to the development of the town while commending the community for honouring him with an award.
Also, the Chairman of the planning committee of the event, Chief Bayo Aina, further extolled the virtues of the monarch while assuring that the reign of the monarch will attract positive development to the kingdom.
An awardee at the event, Mrs Taye Olawale stated that the award conferred on her will further encourage her to contribute her own quota to the development of the Otun Ekiti Kingdom.
