Ten years after he was dragged to court for an 11.5 billion naira fraud, the Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan, Thursday morning, discharged former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.
It is on record that the Ogbomoso-born politician, who was governor between 2007 and 2011, had been dragged to court shortly after leaving office over the alleged fraud.
At the ongoing judgement reading, the appeal court said the trial court wrong to have asked the defendant/appellant enter appeal.
