The former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha has promised to establish a branch of Rochas Foundation School at Otun-Ekiti, in Ekiti State.
He stated this during the conferment of honorary chieftaincy title bestowed on him by the monarch of Otun Ekiti kingdom, Oba Adeayo Adekunle Adeagbo over the weekend in Ekiti state.
Speaking on behalf of the Senator, Prince Ebunola Martins said, “The foundation has about 5,000 Yoruba speaking students and 25,000 children across Africa. The scholarship is total including feeding, clothing and payment of tuitions among others. This is the message of hope that we are bringing to the town and whosoever gets the scholarship will gain from all these”.
He further added that the school has been in existence for over 20 years with branches in Sokoto, Zaria, Yola, Bauchi, Kano, Ibadan, Calabar, Enugu, Owerri among other towns in Nigeria.
