Why Nigerians Must Embrace Love, Tolerance, Kindness -Olalekan Sanni, OSOAF President

The founder and president of Olalekan Sanni Open Arm Foundation ( OSOAF ) Alhaji Olalekan  Sanni, has felicitated with Christian faithful both in  Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, urging them to epitomize kindness, humility and tolerance as Christ taught them.

Alhaji Olalekan said this in a Christmas message to celebrate this year 2021 he personally signed and made available to the media on Christmas eve.

Alhaji Olalekan an indigene of Ibadan based in America, rejoiced and felicitated with Christian faithful in Ibadan, Oyo state, particularly in Ibadan North Local government, for witnessing another celebration of Christ birthday and urged them to use the season to reflect on the teaching of Christ in kindness, charity, welfarism and tolerance among other religious adherents.

The OSOAF President also charged Christians to use the festive period of Christmas to offer prayers to overcome the country’s myriad of challenges.

“During this period, we should remember and pray for those who have suffered untold hardship as a result of finding comfort, what to eat and better living” he said.

He added that when “faithful adherence to the virtues of Jesus Christ, including love, unity, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence, which constitute the fundamental ingredients for development of any society will certainly lead to the growth and stability of the Nation”

He also “admonished Christians to apply the virtues of Jesus Christ in fashioning out workable measures aimed at paying  keen attention to the message of love, peace and sacrifice, which Jesus preached during his time on earth

“We need to remember the love that Jesus taught. We must love our neighbours as ourselves, do good to them and wish them well at all times, and each and every one of us must realized that what is good for one should also be good for the other, we must show love to our neighbours at Christmas, as that remains the fundamental message of the yuletide.

Alhaji Olalekan Sanni who had earlier through his foundation, OSOAF a non-governmental organization  donated cash, food items to widows, traders  across Ibadan North local government, also recently distributed back to school packages comprises of School bags and writing materials to primary school pupils in Ibadan, and organized, free medical care for the market traders in Market  areas situated at  Ibadan North local government, said, “the spirit of sharing and giving is an African tradition that generates happiness and ensures social stability for the less privileged in our society.” maintained that, that is what he beliefs in, and his foundation stands for, more so as it reflects in the motor of the Foundation, ” striving to be caring “

He added that We must continue to extend hand of love, benevolence and live as one family irrespective of our creed or colour.

“We must also continue to respect each other’s right to live freely and peacefully. The period of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the symbol of Christianity and the harbinger of peace, love, giving, sharing and good tidings

As we rejoice and celebrate to mark the season “Let us imbibe the values of Christmas by promoting giving, peace, love, friendship and unity. He concluded.
