The ADC to Chief Adeniyi Adebayo when he was the governor of Ekiti State, Mr Sunday Olaleye Faleye has been promoted Commissioner of Police.

PMParrot gathered that the formal decoration will be held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja any time from now.

A police source close to Faleye informed that the deserved promotion has further made the new CP to be more submissive to God.

Said the source “Oga Faleye who has always been a level-headed boss and has never been arrogant. Since the signal announcing the promotion came, he has been appreciative of what God did for him. He was also thankful to the Inspector General of Police and others who considered him worthy of being promoted.”

Mr Faleye joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1990 when he commenced training at the Police Academy. He has since attended several courses at home and abroad.

Our source told us that “in addition to being ADC to former Governor Adeniyi Adebayo, he was also Staff Officer to Inspector General of Police, Staff Officer to the Commissioner of Police, ( United Nations) MONUA, Angola.

“Along the line, he was DPO at Tollgate, Oluyole, Ojoo and Iyana Offa in Oyo State Command. He was AC OPS in Ekiti and Ebonyi States.
